IMPROVING
WATER QUALITY BY FILTRATION |
Filtration is by far the simplest
and most cost effective way of improving water quality. If
you need to remove a particular contaminant or need to get
rid of that "swimming pool" taste a filter is the
easiest way.
Starting with its most basic and simplest form our Simplex
Super with its high quality carbon cartridge. It will reduce
chlorine (bad taste) particles and other organic contamination
such as pesticides and VOCs. the filter is changed (6 monthly).
With a finer filtration rating the Simplex Matrikx utilizes
a CTO Matrikx carbon Block cartridge. The ultimate in a single
filter is the Ultra. Its Doulton UltraCarb cartridge removes
everything that the carbon based cartridges do but is also
effective against metals & bacteria.
Our Duplex systems combine the 3 cartridges available in the
Simplex range with the added benefit of a softening cartridge,
essential in hardwater areas to remove hardwater scale. All
systems can be installed by a competent DIYer & come with
a complete installation kit with "push-fit" fittings
& self-piercing valves which clamp on the cold water pipe
and cut their own hole in it with no leaks. If your not sure
what's right for you fax or e-mail us for advice. Contact

WHOLE
HOUSE FILTRATION |
|
For whole house filtration our High Flow Vessel based units
are ideal. Each unit is completely self-contained and contains
high grade activated carbon media or carbon & KDF55D.
The media is available in refill packs which lowers the overall
running costs. Each refill can last up to three years. The
optional backwash valve prolongs the life of the media.
Check you have the space to install the unit. It is recommend
that a valve be installed in your pipe-work on each side on
the unit to isolate the water supply when replacing the media,
or buy one of our installation kit. Homes with tank fed hot
water systems should check that the tanks are clean &
have lids as the chlorine will be removed by the filter and
if bacteria enters the tanks is could grow. |
