The
Freshwater 6000 (electronic metered) |
Utilizing its built in electronic turbine meter the 6000
Electronic Metered water softener will only regenerate when
necessary. This will save on running costs when water use
varies from day to day or week to week. Its sophisticated electronics continually adjust the day on which regeneration will occur, based on your current use, only regenerating once the reserve is reached.
Electronics with a simple to use interface means setting
up is easy, all you need to do is set the time & input
the hardness by using the easy to use buttons on the face
of the water softener. However under the surface at the
heart of the 6000 the meter & ICs are constantly updating
the memory as to your water use, calculating the best day
to regenerate and saving you money. The led read out constantly
provides a visual indication of the time of day & remaining
capacity plus indicators showing service & flow. The
special design of the 6000 water softeners provides on
average a 30% regen water saving over standard metered water
softeners. All contained within a one piece rotationally
molded robust cabinet with a large salt lid for easy filling.

Flow Rate Information:
Different sized connections to your softener will affect the rate of water flow. The best flows are achieved with rigid pipe work, this offers the least resistance to the water. Using flexible hoses reduces the flows as the internal bore is smaller than that of rigid pipe work. In most cases such as homes with Combi Boilers & Gravity Fed (tanks in the roof) systems hoses a quite adequate, however on installation with Megaflow type systems where the highest flow rates are required the best results will be achieved by using rigid pipe work.
Standard hoses 18 litres per min, 15mm pipe 27 litres per min, 22mm Hoses 45 litres per min, 22mm pipe 50 litres per min
